Abstract
Based on Presidential Instruction Number 3 of 2003 concerning National Policy and Strategy for E-government Development, central and regional governments are required to utilize technological advances to improve the quality of their performance in public services. The Smart Village program in Plumpang Village, Plumpang District, Tuban Regency is an innovation created to provide the best service to the community. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the implementation of the Smart Village Program in Plumpang Village, Plumpang District, Tuban Regency. The research results show that the implementation of the Smart Village Program in Plumpang Village can be said to be successful. Of the six variables analyzed, four of them have been successfully achieved and the two variables that have not been optimal are Resources and Communication. The Resource variable shows the unavailability of the Village Independent Service Platform, which is the four facilities of the Smart Village Program. Meanwhile, the Communication Variable shows that it is not optimal because there are still people who do not know about the existence of the Smart Village Program. It is hoped that this research will be a new finding that there are still shortcomings in the implementation of the smart village program and can be of concern to the relevant government to overcome these problems.
