Abstract

In the 4.0 era, digital has become the main driving force in various fields, including marketing activities. A familiar concept in this era is digital marketing. One of them is using Instagram social media as a promotional or marketing medium because Instagram has a wide reach throughout the world. With the existence of Instagram, people are starting to change their promotional methods from conventional to modern, namely promoting using social media. Given these problems, this research aims to examine how Instagram is used as a promotional medium for the Tanjungan Kemlagi Mojokerto Reservoir Ecotourism. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method approach with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies (both from books, journal articles related to the use of Instagram as promotional media), interviews and field observations. The data obtained was then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the use of Instagram by the Tanjungan Reservoir management by using Instagram features as a promotional medium for the Tanjungan Reservoir is proven by several statements from several followers/visitors of the Tanjungan Reservoir ecotourism Instagram.
