Abstract
Personal branding is a crucial action to take for enhanced recognition among social media users. Rudi Surya's approach to personal branding through his TikTok account is a notable feature. The purpose of this research is to analyze Rudi Surya's personal branding as a comedy content creator through his @rudisuryaa TikTok account using content analysis techniques. Goffman's theory on personal branding strategies is employed in the study. The findings indicate that Rudi Surya uses the ingratiation technique in his personal branding, portraying a pleasant and engaging persona. Additionally, Rudi Surya's personal branding strongly emphasises comedy content. Moreover, the use of social media platform TikTok , as a platform for personal branding, is considered effective as it allows individuals to effortlessly demonstrate who they are through the personal branding they construct through the platform.
