Abstract
Currently, competition in the world of work is very concerned about the knowledge and abilities of an institution graduate, especially in this era of globalization where technological developments have advanced. In the Civil Engineering Program of the East Java "Veteran" National Development University, the planning for the construction of tall buildings, roads and bridges is designed to produce graduates who are intelligent and able to compete at the national and international levels. This study program is also made to give birth to graduates who are not proficient in theory or planning, but are able to apply and carry out work in the field. In Semester VII, undergraduate study program students are required to take part in the Job Training (KP) program. The KP was carried out for 2 months in a field construction project. The placement of students in construction projects is intended to increase knowledge about work and technical and non-technical aspects that occur in construction projects. Students are also required to see, observe, record, record, document and compare the reality in the field with the theory obtained during lectures which is then put down in a KP report and presented.
