Abstract
Human resources become a factor that greatly affects the success of the company and also as a supporter to realize the company's goals. Thus the company must also have skills in managing human resources as employees who work, because patented human resources will also have a good influence on the work tasks that exist in the company. The research study aims to examine the effect of communication and work environment on employee performance at PDAM Giri Tirta Kab. Gresik. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study was 63 employees using a sampling technique in the form of a saturated sample, namely by using the entire population as the research sample. The use of questionnaires as a method of data collection, which was distributed to service and production employees. The analytical model used to analyze the data in the study using the SEM method using PLS software. The results of the study indicate that with good communication it will be able to improve the performance of PDAM Giri Tirta Kab employees. Gresik., then if there is an adequate and good working environment it will be able to improve employee performance at PDAM Giri Tirta Kab. Gresik.
