Abstract

Advances in digital technology have driven the use of e-wallets as one of the digital payment methods increasingly adopted by the public, including college students. However, high e-wallet usage does not necessarily indicate that users intend to continue using the service on an ongoing basis. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of perceived usefulness and perceived security on continuance intention, with satisfaction serving a a mediating variable, among public university students who use the DANA e-wallet in Surabaya. This study employs a quantitative approach using primary data collected through a questionnaire distributed to 112 students at public universities in Surabaya who have used the DANA e-wallet. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of the SmartPLS software. Tests were conducted to analyze both direct and indirect effects among the variables and to determine the role of satisfaction as a mediating variable. The results of the study indicate that perceived usefulness contributes to continuance intention. Perceived security also contributes to continuance intention. Furthermore, satisfaction mediates the relationship between perceived usefulness and continuance intention, as well as between perceived security and continuance intention. Keywords: Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Security, Satisfaction, Continuance Intention
