Abstract
UKKI UPN Veteran Jawa Timur conducts various activities that require information management, schedule delivery, registration, attendance, and participation monitoring. However, the implementation of these activities still faces problems in the delivery and management of activity information. This study aims to design the UI/UX of a mobile-based UKM activity management application according to user needs using the Design Thinking method, which consists of the empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing stages. The design involved three user groups, namely UKKI members, administrators, and supervisors. The evaluation was conducted using Usability Testing, System Usability Scale (SUS), and Heuristic Evaluation. The first-stage testing resulted in SUS scores of 82.5 for members, 86.87 for administrators, and 80 for supervisors, with a Grade B and Excellent category. Based on the results of the Heuristic Evaluation, design improvements and iterations were carried out. The second-stage testing showed an increase in SUS scores to 90.8 for members, 95 for administrators, and 90 for supervisors, with a Grade A and Best Imaginable category. These results indicate that the design iteration improved usability and produced a UI/UX design that better meets the needs of UKKI users.
