Abstract

CV. Karya Multimedia is a company that focuses on the field of information technology and develops various technology-based solutions. One of its products is a web application designed for several partner organizations, including a web application used by the UPT and community health centers (puskesmas) in Pasuruan Regency. This web application functions as a platform to manage and record data related to the operational activities of puskesmas, particularly in terms of medicine and medical equipment distribution.The data utilized in this web application include historical records of requests for medicines and medical equipment submitted by puskesmas to the UPT over a certain period of time. These historical data are highly valuable, as they reflect patterns and trends in the demand for medicines and medical equipment at the puskesmas level. By analyzing this data, it is possible to obtain insights that can support planning and decision making related to inventory management and distribution in the future.However, prior to this internship (Praktek Kerja Lapangan/PKL) project, there had been no implementation of a specific algorithm or predictive method to forecast the demand for medicines and medical equipment based on the available historical data. Therefore, this PKL project aims to develop a demand prediction model using historical request data and the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method. The prediction results are then presented through an interactive dashboard, which not only displays the forecasted demand but also provides additional simple analytical insights to assist stakeholders in monitoring trends and supporting more effective planning and distribution of medicines and medical equipment.
