Abstract

This empirical study investigates how organizational commitment and work facilities collectively influence the job satisfaction of inpatient nursing staff at Hospital X Sidoarjo. To evaluate the structural pathways between these specific variables, a quantitative design was deployed utilizing Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The statistical analysis reveals that organizational commitment exerts a positive and significant impact on nurses' job satisfaction, implying that heightened levels of institutional loyalty directly foster greater workplace contentment. Additionally, work facilities were found to have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, demonstrating that the provision of adequate and supportive operational resources substantially elevates nurses' comfort in executing their daily duties. These insights underscore the necessity for Hospital X Sidoarjo to reinforce organizational alignment and consistently upgrade physical work environments. Ultimately, such strategic enhancements are vital for driving up employee satisfaction, which subsequently paves the way for superior staff performance and enhanced healthcare delivery.
