Abstract

This research intends to explore the work motivation of personnel at PT IDS by analyzing the effects of flexible working arrangements, hybrid working models, and internal communication on individuals within the IT Department. The investigation was initiated due to indications that work motivation appears to be lacking, evident from inadequacies in discipline, enthusiasm for work, and satisfaction with the work setting. Implementing flexible work methods and hybrid systems may lead to challenges in coordination and effective communication, potentially diminishing team motivation. A quantitative research strategy was employed, utilizing a survey for data collection. Questionnaires were distributed to employees of the IT department at PT IDS who were chosen as participants for the study. The analysis of the data was carried out using a method known as Partial Least Squares (PLS) to assess the connections among flexible working arrangements, hybrid work practices, internal communication, and the motivation of employees. Research indicates that flexible work options, hybrid systems, and effective internal communication positively influence employees' motivation at work. Flexibility in work arrangements facilitates job management, while hybrid work fosters a healthy balance between professional responsibilities and personal life. Moreover, efficient internal communication enhances coordination, aids in clarifying information, minimizes mistakes, and boosts employee involvement. These findings suggest that adopting a flexible work structure, complemented by a hybrid approach and effective internal communication, can enhance employees' levels of motivation
