Abstract
THE EFFECT OF ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE THROUGH EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AND PROACTIVE WORK BEHAVIOR AMONG EMPLOYEES OF THE INSPECTORATE OF NGAWI REGENCY Rizki Timur Rahmawati Program Studi Magister Manajemen UPN Veteran Jawa Timur ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational support on employee performance at the Inspectorate of Ngawi Regency, both directly and through the mediation of Employee Engagement and proactive work behavior. Organizational support through awards, provision of facilities and adequate allowances influences performance through employee engagement and proactive work behavior in supporting the success of organization. This study used an explanatory research approach with population comprised all ASN employees at the Ngawi Regency Inspectorate, consisting of 53 civil servants and 6 civil servant candidates, all of whom were sampled using the census method. Data collection used questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. The results indicate that organizational support an contribute and have an impact on the performance of Ngawi Regency Inspectorate employees. Additionally, Employee Engagement acts as a mediator that strengthens the relationship between organizational support and employee performance, where organizational support increases work engagement, which in turn promotes improved performance. Proactive work behavior is also proven to mediate this relationship, with organizational support encouraging employees to take initiative and act proactively, thereby enhancing overall performance.
