Abstract
The high turnover intention among frontline employees is a serious challenge for retail companies, including CV. Premium Indonesia. In recent years, the company has experienced an increase in employee turnover, which has an impact on work stability and productivity. This study aims to understand how transactional leadership style and organizational commitment levels influence employees' (particularly frontline) intentions to stay or leave the company. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected from 56 respondents via questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results show that transactional leadership has a significant influence on turnover intention. However, if not balanced with strong organizational commitment, this leadership style can actually trigger employee turnover. Conversely, high organizational commitment has been shown to reduce employee intentions to leave their jobs, even when faced with heavy work demands or pressure.
