Abstract

The Regional Office of the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) in East Java Province is a Non-Ministerial Government Institution that plays a crucial role in planning, implementing, and evaluating population and family planning programs in the region. As an institution focused on the welfare of families and residents, the effectiveness and efficiency of employee performance are crucial in achieving established goals. This study aims to provide deeper insights into the relationship between discipline and employee performance at the BKKBN Regional Office in East Java Province. Using a simple linear regression method, the study evaluates the relationship between the independent variable (work discipline) and the dependent variable (employee performance). The results of the simple linear regression analysis indicate a significant influence of work discipline on employee performance, with a p-value less than 0.05. Based on the coefficient of determination (R-squared) obtained, work discipline explains approximately 81% of the variability in employee performance.
