Abstract
Mosques play a vital role as centers of worship and social activities for Muslims. However, managing Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS) funds faces challenges such as security, transparency, and community participation. This study aims to design a mobile donation application UI/UX for Masjid Jami' Al-Awwabin to facilitate donations and support effective and transparent fund management. The research adopts the Design Thinking methodology, which includes the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. User needs were identified through questionnaires and analyzed using point of view and user persona techniques. The application design was tested for effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction using usability testing with SUS and QUIS methods. The results of the second iteration usability testing for donors showed an effectiveness of 95%, efficiency of 89.89%, and satisfaction of 84.5%, with QUIS scores of 7.76 for reactions, 7.7 for screen design, 7.54 for terminology, 7.62 for learning, and 7.76 for capabilities. For treasurers, the results were 95% effectiveness, 91.54% efficiency, and 92.5% satisfaction, with QUIS scores of 8.84 for reactions, 8 for screen design, 8 for terminology, 8 for learning, and 7.6 for capabilities. For staff, the results showed 96.6% effectiveness, 95.01% efficiency, and 82.5% satisfaction, with QUIS scores of 7.8 for reactions, 7.6 for screen design, 7.7 for terminology, 7.6 for learning, and 7.8 for capabilities. The final test results indicate that the applied testing methods in the design of the donation application for Masjid Jami' Al-Awwabin achieved highly satisfactory outcomes.
