Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of work discipline and career development on employee performance through work motivation at Bank Rakyat Indonesia Gresik Branch Office. In this case, motivation, work discipline and career development are considered important in creating good performance within the company. This research uses a quantitative method using a questionnaire which is used to collect data and the population in this research is employees of Bank Rakyat Indonesia Gresik Branch Office with a sample size of 72 respondents. Data analysis uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The results of this research show that work discipline and career development do not have a direct effect on employee performance, but work discipline and career development have a positive and significant influence on employee performance through work motivation. These findings show that there is an indirect relationship between work discipline and career development on employee performance through work motivation.
