Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership style on organizational commitment through intrinsic motivation as a mediating variable for employees of Suara Surabaya Media. This type of research is quantitative, using the Smart PLS analysis software. This study employs a saturated sample due to the small population size within this company. The population in this study consists of 73 employees. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires. The testing techniques on the data include validity and reliability tests, R-Square, and bootstrapping hypothesis tests. The results of this study indicate that the variable of transformational leadership style and intrinsic motivation have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment through intrinsic motivation as a mediating variable among the employees of Suara Surabaya Media.
