Abstract

Employee performance is very important to the overall success of a company. The research aims to determine the effect of work discipline and compensation on employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable. This type of research is quantitative research. This research uses samples from the PT Petrokimia Gresik Sales Unit. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling or census of sales units with a total of 125 respondents. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is the PLS (PartialLeastSquare) method, through validity tests, reality tests and hypothetical tests. The result is that the Discipline variable makes no contribution to Employee Performance. Compensation variables contribute to employee performance. Motivation variables mediate work discipline on employee performance. Motivation variables mediate compensation on employee performance.
