Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of compensation and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Port Indonesia III (Persero) Sub Regional East Java Port of Tanjung Perak. This research uses a causal associative quantitative method using a proportional stratified random sampling approach and the data involved is primary data with a total number of respondents of 80 PT employee respondents. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Sub Regional East Java Port of Tanjung Perak.. The independent variables in the research include Compensation and Work Discipline while the dependent variable is performance. The instrument testing used is the Validity Test and Reliability Test with data analysis methods and the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Test with SPSS version 25. Based on the results of the data processing, the result is that the sig value for the compensation variable (X1) is 0.000 < 0.05. The calculated t value – 9.233 < t table 2.015. So H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that the variable has a partial negative effect on the performance of PT employees. Port of Indonesia III (Persero) Sub Regional East Java Port of Tanjung Perak.. The sig value of the work discipline variable (X2) is 0.004 < 0.05. The calculated t value is 2.938 > t table 2.015. So H0 is rejected and H2 is accepted, meaning that the work discipline variable has a partial positive effect on the performance of PT employees.
