Abstract
Study about the semiotic of a movie called "Ngeri-ngeri sedap" This movie released in 2022 and uplifting Batak culture the theory is using jhon fiske three levels of codes of television. There is a conservative culture, which is a culture that supports traditional values because it has different goals and values and this culture still applies in Mr. Domu's family. We can clearly see from the main character, Mr. Domu, who's still ambitious that his children must have a way of life according to what Mr. Domu himself wants and plans.The backgrounds of all the characters in this film still contain conservative culture. Film production with a family theme is still closely related to life in the real world and the existing culture is also taken from people's daily lives. oppung as a extended family succeeded in becoming a mediator in the conflict on mr.
