Abstract
The creative industry sector is currently growing rapidly, contributing 7.29% of GDP in 2019 and providing employment for more than 18.9 million workers. One of them is the wedding organizer business which is increasingly mushrooming, but from the rise of these businesses there are still many complaints from clients who are dissatisfied with the services provided. This study aims to determine the effect of intellectual capital and organizational culture on the performance of employees in the creative wedding organizer industry in the city of Surabaya. This research is included in the quantitative research with three variables namely, intellectual capital, organizational culture, and employee performance conducted at five wedding organizers in the city of Surabaya. Which, the intellectual capital variable has three dimensions namely, human capital, structural capital, and relational capital. The population in this study were 56 wedding organizer employees who were selected using the slovin formula. The data collection method used in this study is the questionnaire method. The measurement scale used is the ordinal scale using the Likert scale with the score of the respondent's answer choices, namely 1 to 5. All data testing uses PLS. The results of this study indicate that the intellectual capital indicator has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, the most influential dimension is structural capital, followed by human capital, and finally relational capital. Organizational culture also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Keywords: Intellectual Capital, Organizational Culture, Employee Performance, Creative Industry
