Abstract
The planning for this Carbon Black plant is expected to be able to produce with a capacity of 50,000 tons of Carbon Black/year in pellet form. The factory operates on a semi-continuous basis for 330 days a year. Carbon Black is needed in large quantities, almost 95% for the rubber industry, and the rest is used in the ink, paint, paper, plastic, and other industries. Briefly, the description of the process of the Carbon Black factory is as follows: First, heavy fuel oil is decomposed in the furnace to form carbon black, then the product is separated and taken by passing it through a cyclone. After that, the carbon black is formed into pellets in the pelletizer, then dried in a rotary dryer and then cooled on a colling conveyor and is ready to be marketed in pellet form.
