Abstract
This study aims to identify the social class represented in the Korean drama Squid Game. This study uses Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis method which consists of two stages of marking. In this study, there are two social classes that are very strongly depicted in the Korean drama Squid Game through signs in the form of images, sounds and writing which are interpreted as denotative meanings, connotative meanings and myths. The results of this study are 18 selected scenes from the Korean drama Squid game have signs that can be interpreted as denotative meanings, connotative meanings and myths. These meanings can represent two main social classes, namely the upper class and the lower class. Keywords: Social Class, Semiotic Analysis, Korean Drama
