Abstract
The value of the company is the company's performance as reflected in the share price formed by supply and demand in the capital market. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of profitability on firm value and to determine the effect of firm size in moderating the relationship between profitability and firm value in food and beverage sub-sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2020 period. Determination of the sample in this study using purposive sampling method. Based on the research criteria for the food and beverage sub-sector companies on the IDX for the 2017-2020 period, 17 companies were obtained that could be used as research samples. The analytical method used in this study uses the Moderated Regression Analysis or MRA analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that profitability contributes to increasing firm value and firm size can strengthen the effect of profitability on firm value in food and beverage sub-sector companies.
