Abstract
The development of technology makes all sectors progress rapidly enough to cause fierce competition for entrepreneurs and companies. In this era, both companies and entrepreneurs take advantage of digital. So that it makes it easier for companies to carry out marketing communication activities that can be done anywhere and anytime because they use new media. One of the new media used in this research is Instagram social media with the purpose of this research is to find out the social media marketing strategy of PT. Ares Kusuma Raya on @chefmatechocolate's Instagram account. The study used a new media theory and regina luttrel's concept of The Circular Model of SOME. . The method used is a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques by conducting interviews, observations, and documentation. The result of this study is PT. Ares Kusuma Raya chose Instagram social media as their social media marketing with a background of following trends and times in addition to the use of social media is also increasing and increasing every day. Their target is cake entrepreneurs and mothers who are active in social media. @chefmatechocolate take advantage of ig live streaming's Instagram feature in its marketing activities on Instagram. In uploading the content PT. Ares Kusuma Raya did the planning and timeline schedule in advance. Instagram social media @chefmatechocolate also managed by dashboards and monitoring media using services from Jakarta. In building engagement with consumers @chefmatechocolate hold giveaways and livestreaming schedules every 2 times a week.
