Abstract

Malang Regency is an area in East Java that has potential There are quite a variety of natural attractions, one of which is the beach. So that it has a big impact on regional income from the tourism sector. It is certainly not escape from adequate facilities that must be provided by the district government Malang to support its tourism attraction. Tourism is one of the industrial sectors that can increase regional income. So that the beauty and natural wealth that has become face for Indonesia will not be lost. It is this interest that makes a place stay as the main accommodation in a tourist area. In general Resorts that are developing in Indonesia are resorts in coastal areas. Lack of lodging accommodation in balekambang beach tourism has an effect on lack of tourist facilities. In designing the resort of the Balekambang beach tourism area, the aim is to: to provide tourist accommodation for visitors in the coastal tourism area Balekambang conforms to the standard of comfort and also fulfills the activities recreation for visitors. The application of green architecture in resort buildings is indicated by create lighting and natural air ventilation, the presence of elements of water and plants in space, the application of natural elements that are applied through the use of natural materials and replicas of natural forms through designs that are processed by the method combine metaphors.
