Abstract
Durian is a plant that gros in tropical areas, for example, in Indonesia. Durian has a characteristic that is thorny skin and has a distinctive aroma that many people like. Aside from being a durian food it can be processed into dodol, jam and flavoring ingredients in food for example on bread biscuits and sweets. The design of this tool will be designed to have the function of splitting durian fruit more practically and efficiently, so that this durian splitting tool has more functions and advantages in the eyes of consumers and the market. To realize this xi goal the QUALITY FUNTION DEPLOYMENT (QFD) method is used. With the result of anthropometric calculations obtained the results of the durian splitter size from antopometry of the consumer's body with shoulder height = 56 cm, hand reach = 18 cm. 32%, according to 3.98%, very suitable 1.76% Keywords: Antropometri,QFD and desk
