Abstract

The implementation of health information systems, exemplified by E-HOS at Siti Khodijah Muhammadiyah Sepanjang Hospital, has significantly enhanced the efficiency and accuracy of health data management. Despite these advancements, practical challenges such as duplicate queue numbers and patient data discrepancies have arisen during system operation. This study utilizes the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Human-Organization-Technology (HOT) Fit Model to assess the Acceptance and usage of E-HOS. The results aim to provide valuable insights for optimizing the utilization of health information systems in the hospital. The research explores relationships among TAM and HOT Fit Model variables to improve user Acceptance of the Hospital Information System at Siti Khodijah Muhammadiyah Sepanjang Hospital. Nine variables from TAM and HOT Fit Model, including User Self-Efficacy, Compatibility, Top Management Support, Project Team Competency, System Quality, Information Quality, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and SIRS Acceptance, are examined. The study involves a sample of 208 hospital employees using E-HOS, and data analysis is performed using SPSS 22 and WarpPLS 7.0. The findings reveal significant relationships between HOT Fit Model and TAM, particularly in User Self-Efficacy, Compatibility, System Quality, and Information Quality with Perceived Ease of Use. Additionally, Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness exhibit a significant relationship with SIRS Acceptance, as indicated by p values <0.05 for each variable.
