Abstract
This research aims to prove the influence of the number of tourist attractions, number of tourists and number of hotels on labor absorption in the tourism sector in Batu City. This research uses secondary data or time series over a period of 10 years, namely the 2012-2021 period. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 16.0. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that overall the independent variables (Number of Tourist Attractions, Number of Tourists, Number of Hotels) have a significant positive effect on labor absorption. Partially, the number of tourist attractions has a positive and insignificant effect on labor absorption, the number of tourists has a negative and insignificant effect on labor absorption, while the number of hotels has a positive and significant effect on labor absorption in the tourism sector in Batu City.
