Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the relationship between media exposure of instagram account @kulinergresik as a independent variable and millennial Gresik Regency on buying interest as a dependent variable. The theory used as the basis of the research is the S-O-R theory by Hovland. Methodology in this research is a quantitative method with a population of 144,000 followers of the account. The sample in this study was taken by purposive sampling with certain criteria. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires through Google forms to 100 respondents. Data analysis methods used in the study consisted of Spearman rank correlation and also t test to test the hypothesis. The results showed that there was a relationship between the two research variables with a correlation coefficient of 0,389. The coefficient value also shows the relationship between media exposure of instagram account @kulinergresik including positive relationship. In addition, based on the results of the t test with a significance level of 5% known ttest > ttable, with a value of 4,180 > 1,984, thats means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
