Abstract
Pearching serves as a form of education in understanding the values and teachings of Islam for easily influenced teenagers. Over time, there has been an evolution of new methods of preaching, one of which is islamic memes that is favored by teenagers. However, within islamic memes, it has been observed that some use illustrations that are inappropriate, such as women not observing modest dress or showing their body contours on Tiktok @koko_islami account, which contradicts Islamic teachings. This research aims to determine the acceptance of Islamic teenagers toward these one elements in islamic memes. A qualitative descriptive approach is the research method used, with in-depth interview data collection techniques. Stuart Hall's Encoding-Decoding reception analysis is employed by the researcher in this study, which consists of three positions: dominance, negotiation, and opposition. The findings of this study reveal diverse acceptance levels among the six informants. The research results tend to be in a negotiation position, with the informants largely rejecting the use of illustrations of women not observing modesty in islamic memes.
