Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out the perceptions of Surabaya students towards @drichardlee's tiktok content as an educational medium in choosing safe skincare. The research method used is qualitative. The results of this study are that there are cognitive, affective and behavioral effects on student perceptions after viewing @drichardlee's tiktok content. First, the cognitive effect felt by Surabaya City students after seeing @drichardlee's tiktok content. The benefits obtained are in the form of information and knowledge. Even though the students also realized that the source of the truth did not come from the tiktok account @drrichardlee, the students really appreciated the courage of the tiktok account @drrichardlee in explaining knowledge correctly. Second, the affective effect on students through @drichardlee's tiktok content. In this study, the informants felt completely happy and motivated by the presence of @drichardlee's tiktok content so that they became more selective in choosing safe skin care. This feeling of pleasure and motivation is evidenced by feelings of annoyance and anger when there are sellers who market products that are unsafe or not BPOM. Then another feeling also emerged after @drichardlee's tiktok content, which was motivated to take better care of the skin. In this case it gives confidence in making decisions about care products that are safe and appropriate for the skin. Third, the behavioral effect of the presence of @drichardlee's tiktok content. Evidenced by the change in behavior felt by the informants. Where when it is implemented into everyday life. The use of safe skincare also affects the skin even though the use of safe skincare also takes quite a long time and cannot be instant like dangerous skincare.
