Abstract
The emergency of sexual violence is not only interpreted by the increasing number of sexual violence, but rather the result of failure to handle cases that are not complete. Views or judgments about cases of sexual violence, especially survivors of sexual violence can lead to stereotypes. Stereotypes are further reinforced and disseminated through the medium of film. The movie Demi Nama Baik Kampus tells a story about the issue of sexual violence in an educational environment or campus. This research was conducted with the aim of examining how female survivors of sexual violence are portrayed in Demi Nama Baik Kampus Films. In this research, John Fiske's semiotic approach is used which refers to the theory of television codes. This research is descriptive and qualitative in nature. Researchers analyzed the level of reality, level of representation, level of ideology in the film. The results of this study explain that women survivors of sexual violence are portrayed as a subordinate group. In Demi Nama Baik Kampus, researchers found the concept of patriarchal ideology and unequal power relations with clues about the main character who is shown to be a weak figure, a figure who has no power, and a figure who suffers.
