Abstract
EGD is a design approach that integrates graphic elements into the environment to provide clear information, assist visitors in determining navigation, and enhance their experience at the locations visited. The importance of designing EGD in public places, especially in Jeruk Park, which is located in Jeruk Village, Lakarsantri District, Surabaya. The research method used is qualitative and quantitative and uses the case study of Jeruk Park as the design location. The data collected include observation, interviews, literature studies, and distributing questionnaires to respondents that are relevant to the predetermined target audience. Data analysis was carried out by identifying information needs and visitor behavior, analyzing site characteristics, and identifying design elements that could strengthen Jeruk Park's information and identity. From the results of this analysis, it is possible to determine the synthesis of the data used in this design with the keywords taken, namely "variative agricultural tourism" and the tagline "Surabaya Agricultural Harmony". Design media in the form of signage and wayfinding, as well as the use of distinctive colors and symbols, reflect the identity of Jeruk Park. This design makes an important contribution to developing EGD designs for tourism, especially Jeruk Park. It is hoped that the results of this design can provide input for tourism managers and the relevant agencies in designing an effective and attractive EGD. In addition, this design also has the potential to become a reference for further designs in the field of design, especially EGD. Keywords: EGD, Design, Jeruk Park, Agriculture.
