Abstract
Apprenticeship is job training organized by a company by working directly under the direction and supervision of instructors or more experienced personnel to master certain skills. The purpose of this paper is to examine the enforceability of the Manpower Law and special and similar regulations regarding apprenticeships. The type of research used is normative juridical research that provides systematic explanations related to regulations, analyzes the relationship between regulations, explains legal issues. The results of the study concluded that the enforceability of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower and special and similar regulations regarding apprenticeship basically do not recognize the term remote paid internship which is adapted from remote working culture. So that the legal protection provided is quite limited because the government has not clearly regulated remote paid internships. In existing regulations, the government has not regulated sanctions if there are violations in apprenticeship activities.
