Abstract
In Lamongan, there is a batik craft center of a variation of batik, namely batik tenun ikat. A superior product with potential in Lamongan is batik tenun ikat. This fabric is a fresh interpretation of woven batik with modern themes. Because it still employs traditional methods using non-machine looms and ideas and production methods that adapt from natural shapes, this sort of cloth has its unique artistic worth. Due to a lack of space for its preservation and promotion, many people are unaware that Lamongan creates this kind of batik. Neo-vernacular architecture is the architectural approach used to transform the tangible and intangible components of Javanese and contemporary building. Create a visual work with the "Reinterpreting Tradition" topic. This topic should be able to reinterpret the significance of regional traditional architecture in innovative ways. The Joglo Jompongan home was transformed into a towering and recognizable trapezoid as part of the gallery structure because it is situated nearby Pendhapa Lokatantra and has the characteristics of a Joglo-roofed building. The gallery's more practical features, components, and building interiors are all treated according to imaginative and flexible neo-vernacular norms. The Lamongan Batik Tenun Ikat Gallery was created to provide visitors the chance to get part in all aspects of the process, from weaving the batik fabric to selling it. Through the existence of galleries, libraries, shopping malls, workshop spaces, and cafeterias, Lamongan has attracted both domestic and foreign tourists as well as members of the general public.
