Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of price discounts, in-store displays and store atmosphere on impulse purchases among Indomaret consumers. This type of research uses quantitative research with descriptive analysis methods. The population used in this study were FISIP UPN Veteran Jawa Timur students who had visited and made transactions or purchases at Indomaret outlets. The sample in this study was taken by 100 respondents and the sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. Instrument testing uses validity and reliability tests and the test results show that all instruments are declared valid and reliable. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression, classical assumption test, f test and t test. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously the variables price discount, in-store display and store atmosphere have a positive and significant effect on impulse buying of Indomaret consumers. Partially, Discounts have a positive and significant effect on impulse purchases among Indomaret consumers. Partially, In-Store Display has a positive and significant effect on impulse purchases for Indomaret consumers. Partially, Store Atmosphere has a positive and significant effect on impulse purchases for Indomaret consumers.
