Abstract
This research is motivated by a phenomenon which shows that there is still a discrepancy in the placement of employees, and there is no rotation and promotion for quite a long time. This results in employee engagement being affected so that job satisfaction is felt by employees at PT. PELNI (Persero) Surabaya Branch has not been achieved. Aims to find out whether there is an effect of Placement (X1), Employee Engagement (X2) on Employee Job Satisfaction (Y). This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a total sample of 47 respondents, the sampling technique using saturated sampling method. The independent variables in this study are placement and employee engagement, and the dependent variable is employee job satisfaction. Instrument testing uses validity and reliability tests. The classic assumption test used is normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. While the method of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, t test.
