Abstract
Feminism is a movement carried out by women with the aim of demanding the same equality and justice as men. One of them is in Indonesia. This study aims to find out how the depiction of feminism in Lathi's music video, popularized by Weird Genius, is an EDM (Electronic Dance Music) music group. Lathi's song has the theme of the struggle of a woman who fights for freedom after being bullied by men. Therefore, to find out in detail how the representation of feminism in Lathi's music video, this study uses John Fiske's semiotic analysis approach. By using the theory of The Codes of Television, namely the level of reality, the level of representation and the level of ideology. The results of the research show that there is a form of feminism through the depiction of the main character, problems or conflicts, body movements or gestures along with expressions and behavior.
