Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of competence, work motivation and compensation on employee performance at PT. Daya Santosa Engineering Surabaya Branch. This study uses the independent variable (X) namely Competence (X1), Work Motivation (X2) and Employee Performance (X3) and the dependent variable (Y) Employee Performance. the population in this study were all employees of the company PT. Daya Santosa Engineering Surabaya Branch, totaling 30 employees. The sampling technique uses saturated samples contained in Non Probability Sampling so that the entire population is sampled. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with the results of constant = 7.929, coefficient b1 = 0.332, b2 = -0.460 and b3 = 0.442, so that the multiple linear regression equation is: Y = 7.929 + 0.332 (X1) - 0.460 ( X2) + 0.442 (X3). The regression equation that has been obtained shows that the two hypothesis tests have a significant effect on employee performance.
