Abstract
The Trans Jatim Cleanliness Monitoring Application (WASB) is a web-based information system developed to support the real-time monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of bus stop and depot cleanliness. Previously, the reporting process was conducted manually via WhatsApp and AppSheet, leading to various issues, such as reports not being centrally documented, the absence of location validation and data input, difficulties in monitoring the status of issues, and limited data storage capacity. This study aims to design and build the WASB application to improve the effectiveness of integrated hygiene report management and issue resolution. The research employed the Agile Scrum methodology, which includes the Product Backlog, Sprint Planning, Sprint Execution, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective phases. Requirements analysis was conducted through interviews and literature studies modeled, while system design utilized Unified Modeling Language (UML), Conceptual Data Model (CDM), and Physical Data Model (PDM). The system was implemented using the Laravel framework, the PHP programming language, MySQL as the database, Bootstrap as the front-end framework, and RESTful API for data exchange. The developed system features 19 key functions that support cleanliness reporting, GPS-based location validation, issue management, status notifications, digital incident report generation, and centralized report summarization. Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) results showed a 100% success rate, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) indicating that the system is excellent and user-friendly. The WASB application improves reporting effectiveness, simplifies issue monitoring, reduces manual processes, and supports more structured and integrated hygiene data management.
