Abstract
This study aims to analyze the simultaneous and partial effects of Employer Branding and Information Credibility on Generation Z's Intention to Apply for jobs through digital recruitment in Surabaya. This phenomenon has become increasingly important due to the growing use of digital media as a platform for disseminating job vacancy information, encouraging companies to build a positive employer image and provide credible information to attract potential applicants. This study employed a quantitative associative research method. The population consisted of Generation Z in Surabaya, with a sample of 150 respondents determined using the Yamane formula. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method. The respondents were Generation Z aged 18–29 years, residing in Surabaya, and having searched for job vacancy information through digital media. Data were collected through an online questionnaire (Google Forms) using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression via SPSS software. The results indicate that employer branding and information credibility simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on intention to apply. Partially, both employer branding and information credibility also have a positive and significant effect on intention to apply. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows that both independent variables are able to explain the variation in intention to apply, while the remaining variation is influenced by other variables outside the scope of this study. Therefore, companies are recommended to develop a positive employer brand and provide clear and credible job vacancy information to enhance Generation Z's intention to apply for jobs through digital media.
