Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effects of work stress and work motivation on employee performance at PT Aerofood Indonesia’s Surabaya Unit. In the in-flight catering industry, employees are required to perform at their best while prioritizing precision, quality, and responsibility in meeting service needs and maintaining product quality. These conditions can lead to work stress and affect employees’ work motivation in carrying out their duties. This study employs a quantitative approach, with data analysis conducted using SPSS software version 27. The population consists of all production employees at PT Aerofood Indonesia’s Surabaya Unit, with a total of 83 respondents. Sampling was conducted using a saturation sampling technique, meaning the entire population was included as the study sample. The results indicate that the variables of work stress and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. Partially, work stress has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Thus, work stress and work motivation are factors that influence employee performance at PT Aerofood Indonesia’s Surabaya Unit.
