Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of profitability, liquidity, and sales growth on firm value, with firm size serving as a moderating variable, focusing on Food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period. Firm value is proxied by the Price-to-Book Value ( PBV) ratio, profitability by Return on Assets (ROA), liquidity by the Current Ratio (CR), and sales growth by the sales growth ratio, while firm size is proxied by the natural logarithm of total assets. This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from annual financial reports. Purposive sampling was used to select the sample, resulting in 43 companies and a total of 215 observations over the five-year study period. Data analysis was conducted using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The research results indicate that profitability contributes to increasing firm value, whereas liquidity contributes to decreasing it. Meanwhile, sales growth does not contribute to firm value. Furthermore, firm size acting as a moderating variable strengthens the relationship between profitability and firm value but does not influence the relationship of liquidity and sales growth with firm value. Keywords: Profitability, Liquidity, Sales Growth, Firm Size, Firm Value, Moderated Regression Analysis.
