Abstract
Economic growth in Banten Province is driven by key sectors such as transportation and warehousing as well as the manufacturing industry; however, optimizing this growth remains hindered by a mismatch between labor supply and demand. This study aims to determine the impact of the transportation and warehousing sector, the manufacturing industry, and the size of the workforce on Banten Province's economic growth in both the long and short term. The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model was employed for the analysis. The results indicate that the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of the transportation and warehousing sector and the manufacturing industry sector have a positive and significant impact on economic growth in the long term. Conversely, the size of the workforce in the manufacturing industry sector has a negative and significant impact on economic growth in the long term. In the short term, the GRDP of the transportation and warehousing sector shows a positive and significant impact in the current year, a negative and significant impact from the previous year, and a positive and significant impact from two years prior. Meanwhile, the GRDP of the manufacturing industry sector and the size of the workforce in the manufacturing industry sector do not significantly affect Banten Province's economic growth in the short term.
