Abstract
The Toerwagen Classic Car Tourist Attraction in Surabaya's Old City area serves as a heritage tourism attraction. Since its launch, visitor numbers have fluctuated by up to 10.25% and shown a declining trend, presumably influenced by Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM). This study aims to examine the effect of the E-WOM dimensions, Intensity, Valance of Opinion, and Content on tourists visiting decisions at the Toerwagen attraction, both partially and simultaneously. This research employs a quantitative, causal-associative approach. The population consists of 22,275 visitors to Toerwagen during July-December 2025, from which a sample of 100 respondents was determined using the Slovin formula and a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that Intensity has a positive and significant effect on visiting decisions, while Valance of Opinion and Content have significant but negative effects. Simultaneously, the three E-WOM variables significantly affect visiting decisions, with an F-value of 104.506 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.766, indicating that 76.6% of the variation in visiting decisions can be explained by Intensity, Valance of Opinion, and Content, while the remaining 23.4% is influenced by other factors outside the model. This study concludes that E-WOM plays an important role in shaping tourists' visiting decisions. Attraction managers are advised to increase the Intensity of digital promotion, respond appropriately to visitor reviews, and present more engaging and informative promotional Content to encourage visit interest.
