Abstract
The phenomenon of quiet quitting has gained increasing attention in the field of human resource management, particularly in the coffee shop industry, which is characterized by high job demands and a predominantly young workforce. This study aims to examine the influence of self-efficacy, burnout, and work-life balance on quiet quitting intention among employees of local coffee shops in Central Surabaya, both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of local coffee shops in Central Surabaya selected using a purposive sampling technique. The findings indicate that self-efficacy, burnout, and work-life balance simultaneously have a significant effect on quiet quitting intention. Partially, self-efficacy and work-life balance have a significant negative effect on quiet quitting intention, while burnout has a significant positive effect on quiet quitting intention. These findings support the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) theory and suggest that strengthening employees' self-efficacy and work-life balance, as well as managing burnout, plays an important role in reducing the tendency toward quiet quitting intention among employees of local coffee shops. Keywords: self-efficacy, burnout, work-life balance, quiet quitting intention, coffee shop, Central Surabaya
