Abstract

SKPM and EPT data at UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur come from different sources, making the monitoring and analysis of students’ non-academic data not yet fully integrated. SKPM data represents student activities and soft skill development, while EPT data is used as supporting information for students’ English proficiency achievement. This study aims to design and develop a data warehouse-based Business Intelligence application that integrates SKPM and EPT data and presents the information through dashboards and multidimensional OLAP analysis. The system development method used in this study is Waterfall, while the data warehouse was designed using the Kimball Nine-Step method with a fact constellation schema. The ETL process was implemented using Pentaho Data Integration, and the data warehouse was built using PostgreSQL. The results of this study include a data warehouse with three fact tables and several supporting dimension tables, three dashboard scenarios using Metabase, and multidimensional analysis using Mondrian OLAP Server. Based on the testing results, the main system functions worked as expected, data quality was evaluated through completeness, accuracy, consistency, and duplicate testing, and the UAT result reached 94.17%, categorized as highly accepted. Therefore, the developed application can assist users in monitoring and analyzing students’ non-academic data in an integrated manner.
