Abstract
The transportation and logistics sector plays a vital role in the national economy, but its performance faces challenges such as declining growth rates and fluctuating profitability. This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, leverage, and sales growth on profitability. Furthermore, this study examines the role of company size in moderating the relationship between these three independent variables and profitability in transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This quantitative study uses secondary data in the form of annual financial reports of transportation and logistics companies listed on the IDX. The sample period was conducted using a purposive sampling method. The data analysis methods used in this study were panel data regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that liquidity does not contribute to profitability. Meanwhile, leverage contributes to decreasing profitability, and sales growth contributes to increasing profitability. Furthermore, company size does not moderate the relationship between liquidity, leverage, or sales growth on profitability in transportation and logistics companies. Keywords: Leverage, Liquidity, Sales Growth, Profitability, Company Size.
