Abstract
The police force plays a role in providingservices, particularly to the community. This study aims to analyze the communication strategies employed by the Mojokerto City Police to improve service excellence through the implementation of public relations processes,two-way communication, and efforts to build good relationships with the community. The background of this study is based on the current condition of the community, which receives inadequate service from the police; inpractice, various service issues are still encountered, such as unresponsive officers, ineffective communication, and the public’slimited understanding of service procedures within the police department. These conditions can affect the level of public trust in police institutions, including the Mojokerto City Police Department. Therefore, an appropriate communication strategy is needed to improve excellent service to the community. This study employs a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants in this study consist of police personnel and members of the community who are involved with or receive services from the Mojokerto City Police Department Mojokerto City Police. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation,and drawing conclusions.
