Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effects of Average Years of Schooling, Gross Regional Domestic Product, and the Open Unemployment Rate on poverty levels in the Tapal Kuda Region during the 2020–2024 period. The study employs a quantitative approach using the Random Effects Model panel data regression method, estimated using Eviews 12. The results indicate that Average Years of Schooling has a significant negative effect on poverty rates, Regional Gross Domestic Product has no significant effect, and the Open Unemployment Rate has a significant positive effect on poverty rates in the Tapal Kuda Region. Therefore, poverty reduction certainly requires policies focused on improving education and skills, equitable distribution of benefits across economic sectors, and reducing unemployment through the creation of quality jobs in the Tapal Kuda region.
